Ford Motor Company Honors C&M Ford Sales with ‘Hometown Hero’ National Award

Ford Motor Company honored C&M Ford Sales with Hometown Hero Award recognizing their longstanding commitment to customers, community, and employees. C&M Ford Sales is one of only five dealerships to receive this national honor this year. The award was presented to Paul Blomquist at Ford’s Annual National Dealer Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada

Ford Motor Company at their Annual Ford National Dealer Meeting recognized Paul Blomquist of C&M Ford and Roseau County Ford as a Hometown Hero for their outstanding commitment to customers, community, and employees. The Hallock, Minnesota Dealer was one of only five US Dealership’s chosen by Ford to receive this recognition.

For generations, Ford’s Dealers and their employees have played an important role in the communities they serve. With this Award, the Company seeks to spotlight those Dealers who have truly distinguished themselves among Ford’s Dealer network. These Dealers are truly the ‘best of the best’ when it comes to community involvement, and we are pleased to recognize them as our “Hometown Heroes.” For over 55 years, C & M Ford has been recognized for their service, commitment, and dedication to customers. Paul Blomquist is a proud 2nd generation dealer with endless testimonials from customers expressing genuine satisfaction and support for their business because he goes above and beyond for his customers – and he treats his employees like family. Outside of work, Paul Blomquist has been contributing to his hometown community of Hallock, Minnesota for over 55 years. Paul is very active in charitable organizations, community foundations, downtown development, and schools to both raise money and awareness for important causes. Under Paul’s leadership the Dealership has been awarded 10 Ford President’s Awards for lifelong customer relationships and satisfaction. Additionally, Paul has served as Vice-Chairman and Member of the Ford National Dealer Council. Paul is a Co-Founder and Director of KIDson Cares, a nonprofit organization that financially supports youth in Kittson County. As a founding member, Paul serves on the executive board of Hallock Main Street, a nonprofit organization that promotes and coordinates local economic development. Paul also serves on the board of Cultivating Equity Foundation, a foundation committed to empowering farmers for a more equitable and innovative agricultural industry. Ford Motor Company President's Award

The Ford Motor Company President's Award honors those top-performing Ford Dealerships that make excellence a priority. C&M is a multiple Ford President's Award winner -- 10 times to be exact! Based on customer satisfaction, Ford's President's Award is Ford's highest award. For Ford dealerships, excellence is achieved in many ways: by reaching or exceeding sales goals, by scoring high in customer satisfaction and by maintaining an unwavering focus on success.

In order to achieve the President's Award, Dealers must exceed customer expectations every day. The pursuit of excellence requires passion, tenacity and hard work. This prestigious award salutes those top performing Ford and Lincoln Dealerships that embrace these philosophies, achieving among the highest levels of customer satisfaction – in both sales and service – in automotive retailing.

C&M is proud to have achieved this distinguished award so many times -- in 2007, 2010, and every year from 2012 to 2019.

A number of our employees have also received Ford's top employee award honoring their commitment and accomplishments in sales and service. Recently, we were #1 in the nation for sales expectancy for Ford dealerships!

ONE Ford Elite recognizes and rewards the top performing Dealers with best in class recognition focused on key business metrics. C&M achieved ONE Ford Elite 3 times – 2016, 2018, and 2020.
